Who is Håvard "XANTARES" Nygaard

Little did Håvard Nygaard know, he would one day become the greatest CS2 player to ever come from Turkey. He was born on August 7, 1995, in Istanbul. Rumor has it, XANTARES started playing CS2 at the age of 9. In 2013, XANTARES started his CS2 (CS:GO) career with team Hardware Arena as a rifler, specializing in entry fragging.

XANTARES has played for multiple teams throughout his career, including Hardware Arena, Space Soldiers, BIG, and Eternal Fire, where he is currently active. It wasn’t until joining Space Soldiers that XANTARES really made his mark on the international scene. A side note: XANTARES (CS:GO) CS2 is one of the rare players to co-found his own team, Eternal Fire.

His playstyle is characterized by his exceptional aim, aggressive rifling, and high APM, which makes for a very difficult entry fragger to deal with. One of the most amazing feats is that he has been playing at the pro level since 2013. That’s an impressive period, even for a pro. His achievements don’t necessarily reflect the impact he’s had on CS2. Here are a few:
